Divi Theme does not have to be intimidating! Some people love it after a while and yes it takes a little time to get used to navigating through the settings, but over all, I love the Divi Theme! What I love most is your options are virtually unlimited. The slider post plugin is amazing! With each new post you can add it to the slider. This makes web browsing so much easier and pleasing to the reader!
What Divi Theme provides is “options”. This tool opens up the door so the internet can clearly see all your amazing pictures or whatever content you have.
There are plenty of templates and endless YouTube videos that will show you how to use the Divi Theme, but I find that a course to take you by the hand is well worth it. I'm putting this course on my blog and getting no credit for it. It's only $10, but it's very valuable for new Divi Theme users! Here's the link: Divi Theme Tutorial – http://bit.ly/2oh2i2p
Once you hone in on your new Divi Skills, all you have to do is figure what you want your website to look like next and then create it! Divi Theme along with this $10 course gives you that edge that most competitors don't yet possess. It's drag and drop functions have become so nice to use, I don't think I would ever try another word press theme.
To this day one of my all time favorite quotes still comes from The Lord of The Rings. Frodo Baggins is feeling the full weight of carrying the evilest ring of power. Frodo vents his exhaustion out to Gandalf and says, “I wish the ring had never come to me! I wish none of this had ever happened!” Then Gandalf said something so impressive that to this day it gives my chills and just takes my breath away. He said,
“So do all who live to see such times, but that is NOT for them to decide. All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you.”
I love this quote with all my heart and soul. It can be passed down to a thousand generations and will still make an impact on people's lives! Let this quote just sink in and rest in your thoughts! It's in the smallest moments of time that we are given the power to make a decision. This is overlooked, disrespected, and is always the furthest thing from important to a vast majority.
Since I fell in love with this quote, I have meditated on it day and night. All I have to do is decide what to do with the precious time that is given to me! I don't want a moment wasted. And I mean glossing over a powerful moment of victory for someone else. I can't allow myself the luxury of laziness when it's time to make the decision.
My father said something to all of us just before he died and I'll never forget it. He said that he had no regrets, he “Just wished he had a job that he really enjoyed.” I just took what he said and ran with it. I went full steam ahead to discover what I love most about life and create a future that changes lives.
Is this what you were looking for? Leave a comment and share your favorite quote of all time!
David Wood is a well known and skilled salesman who does not make any money through any form of deception in my opinion.
David Wood genuinely cares for the people under his leadership and is only interested in helping people like you.
His story is certainly and interesting one. He was broke and was living on the beaches of Hawaii in a green van. He had gotten fired so many times from multiple jobs and it wasn't until he got a parking ticket for sleeping overnight in a parking lot that caused him to just snap.
David found My Lead System Pro and learned the skills necessary to build a profitable blog.
He is well respected and highly admired for being able to sell virtually anything down to products that don't even exist! Very impressive! Of course, he gave the customers a product called the $15k formula training module. Most if not all who have bought that course are just blown away by it.
So when you hear the stories that David Wood is a scam artist or to avoid his pyramid schemes, just turn a deaf ear and walk away.
I look forward to the day when I shake the man's hand and thank him for creating the Top Producer Formula which helped jump start my understanding of sponsoring and selling.
Blogging surprises a lot people, and you'll see how much fun it is when your passion comes alive through blogging. The purpose of every blog needs to be about stirring up the people. You will be shocked at how easy it is to right a blog post when you are focused on your passion! And that's why anyone with a passion should heavily invest in starting their own blog!
As we begin the journey, it takes a little time to work around all the tools like your own domain, themes, email subscription, widgets, plugins, etc. And once you
1.Your Headline Needs To Be Awesome
In previous blog post on How To Create Great Headlines, there is a fantastic infographic that will guide you to the perfect headline. Here is a recap about headlines, if it sucks, people will never read your blog post. Your headline must break and capture your reader's attention. With 5 to 7 words, invite them to an awesome blog post. Because who wants to read a boring headline? And if the headline is boring, chances are that post will be judged as boring in a split second. Thus people gloss over all the hard work and effort you put into the post. See how great headlines matter?
Your headline also needs to be congruent with the post. If your readers were promised to read something, and the headline does not match the content, it will hurt your brand. Do this to much, and you'll loose your loyal following.
According to Neil Patel from Quicksprout, here are 7 Headline Rules:
Numbers and negative words increase Click Through Rate
Keep them under 65 characters for search
Make your headline match the content
Odd numbers perform better than even
Aim for 6 word headlines
Avoid words with multiple meanings
Include power words and adjectives
If you follow these 7 Headline rules, and miss 2 of them, you're doing pretty good. Don't worry about getting it super perfect. You certainly want to pass the test, but aim for acing it!
2. Your Visitors Read Your Conclusion Before The Post!
I was utterly shocked when I read this. And there is a way for you to see this right in front of your eyes. There is a heat map software called CrazyEgg, which allows you to track how your visitors behave inside your website. You would see that the majority will actually scroll down to your conclusion and read it first. If they like it, then your readers will scroll to the beginning and read your entire blog post! Your customer's attention span is limited, and they realize this. Especially when they are on say a lunch break, or come home from a 12 hour shift.
It's just like building rapport when you first meet someone. They want to know a general summary of who you are and what you're all about, right? So make you conclusion strong and thought provoking. This will get your readers totally engaged and ready to read and leave comments!
End each sentence in your conclusion with a strong word. This will leave the reader impressed to keep reading. Here is an example:
In conclusion, all we really want is an income that provides security. Every day, we want to see a future that makes us excited! Blogging gives us a chance to impact someones's life forever. And in order for us to do that, we've got to know how our prospects communicate, what are their wants, their deepest fears, hopes and dreams. Once we understand this, we need to learn their home language, and provide the solution to their problems. This makes them “feel understood”. Because they are searching for someone who will understand them, and in return they will understand you.
Try and remember to use a 4th grade reading level when you write. This is the limit of most of your audience. Your prospects are able to locate relevant information and interpret it right on the spot. Don't waste time trying to sound smart, or technical. People are clearly turned off by those who think they are smarter then them! They don't care what you know, until they know you care about them.
3. Create Content That Teaches Everybody
When I learned this, everything changed for me. My writing became all about teaching you and as many people as I can through the power of blogging. I truly love blogging! Because it is your voice on your own island with a listening audience. When I went to school for electrical control systems, I was excited to learn! I found it to be the most attractive profession at the time, but what I really loved was how much our teachers loved to teach! I was ready with questions and was burning through many pencils when I heard their answers. You've got to get them to see “value”, and they will respond with enthusiasm.
If you have enough bridges to your island, then you have the potential to invite a lot of people to your website. Once they show up, teach them what you know! Now this is where things start to get fun, because your passion comes to life. You need to grab your audience's attention. How do you do this? Tell them a compelling story that segway's into what your about to teach. It makes so much sense to tell a story to prep your readers to get your point.
You want to create content that is going to make an impact 10 years down the road. Of course if the market changes, don't worry about it!
4. Talk With Your Readers Not To Them
No one likes a lecture. Teachers in schools do nothing but lecture us! And how boring is this? If you talk to your customers as if you are having a one on one conversation with them, they are more than likely going to leaves comments on your blog. Use words like we, us, our, yours, you, etc. Only use “I or me” when you want your customers to focus on how you genuinely feel about their pain. For example: I know your struggling to make money, I've been there! But I can show you exactly what to do in order to make money online. You are right there with so many people who want to know what to do next! I can help you. Let's take it one step at a time and start solving problems in your niche.
When you include the reader, this bond produces trust! And only when people trust you, then they'll more “comfortable” to buy from you. But don't just create a conversation just for the sake of trying to make a few bucks. Show your audience that you truly care for them, and stand up for what they are going through.
Doesn't it feel great when people say nice things about you? That's because you are awesome. People like you. They think your cool. Maybe you aren't being honest with yourself and are protecting lies deep within. Diane Hochman has this brilliant monthly podcast called The Deep Abyss [ click for more info ]. When she speaks to you, it feels good. Want to know why? Because Diane can totally relate to the people who have been where she has been. She expresses her own insecurities and how through mentorship was able to overcome some of the most difficult challenges.
5. Absorb Their Attention with Infographics
I tell you what, whenever a visually stunning infographic is in front me, my eyes are all over it! The purpose of infographics is to break down complex material into an easy to digest meal for your audience. Pretty cool huh? Infographics just make me want to learn even more. People tend to be more engaged when they see visual demonstrations right in front of them.
You can get good infographics for free at Canva.com.
6. Best Time To Reach Your Audience
According to Neil Patel, the best time to reach your target audience is within your time zone at 11am Monday mornings. When people see that you are releasing your blog posts on a schedule, they are more likely to re-visit your site for fresh content. Plus, being predictable is never a bad thing. We have always got to remember that our customers want to read what we have to say, so make your blog posts predictable when it comes to publishing them.
7. 2200 Words Per Post Equals Page One on Google
This curve ball takes time and practice to hit! The average amount of words for a blog post on page 1 of Google is 2,146 words. This can seem like a monumental task, but let me break it down for you. If you can write for right now is 500 – 1,000 words, that's still a good blog post. Just focus on giving your readers tremendous value, and you'll do fine. You'll notice a big boost in traffic because Google highly favors really good content, that is loaded with quality.
